Uniform Policy

• HVCS Logo, royal blue polo shirt, long or short sleeve
• Only the top button may be unbuttoned.  
• All shirts must be tucked in at all times.  
• Long sleeve shirts are not permitted under the short sleeve uniform shirts.  
• White short sleeved undershirts may be worn under the uniform shirts.

• HVCS Logo, navy blue cardigan sweaters for girls  
• HVCS Logo, navy blue v-neck sweaters for boys
• HVCS Logo, royal blue fleeces for boys and girls
• Must be worn over HVCS Logo polo shirt.

• HVCS Logo, navy blue jumpers for girls
• Must be worn with white Peter Pan blouses.

• Khaki, tan, or navy blue only.  
• Any style is acceptable, e.g. carpenter, cargo, corduroy, etc. (no denim).  
• Skirts, shorts or skorts must be hemmed no higher than 2 inches above the knee.  
• Belts are not required but, if worn, must be solid brown or black.

• All leggings, tights and socks must be solid navy blue or white when worn with shorts, skorts, skirts, jumpers or capris.
• Leggings must be ankle length.
• Socks or tights must be worn at all times.
• Only 7th and 8th grade girls may wear nylons.

• For safety reason, shoes with laces must be laced as designed and tied.  
• Heel height no greater than two inches, measured from the inside of the shoe.  
• Shoes must have closed toes and heels.  
• Athletic shoes are acceptable.  
• Boots may be worn outdoors only.  
• Crocs are not permitted.

• All hair should be neatly groomed and styled to stay out of the eyes.  
• Boy’s hair must be top of collar length or shorter.  
• Small, simple, stud-type earrings, or snug hoops are acceptable for girls only.  
• No make-up or unnatural hair colors are permitted, including bleaching.

• Modestly fitting shorts, hemmed no higher than 2 inches above the knee.  
• Full t-shirts.  
• Clothing must be neither too tight nor too loose.  
• Athletic socks, shoes, sweat clothes for outdoor classes.  
• No spandex.

• Jeans are acceptable, but no sweats or athletic pants may be worn.  
• T-shirts and tops must have sleeves and neckline must reach the collarbone.  
• Sweatshirts, regular and hooded, may be worn.  
• No inappropriate logos, (e.g. alcohol, drugs, rock stars, etc.) are permitted.
• No camouflage clothing is permitted.
• Individual coupons allowed only on Fridays.
