Athletics – HVCS

Athletics offers our students an opportunity to develop important skills such as physical coordination, teamwork, good sportsmanship, discipline, relationship building, and more. Huron Valley Catholic School sports teams participate with other area Catholic, Christian, and public schools in interscholastic competition for boys’ basketball, and girls’ basketball and volleyball. Inter-scholastic team sports are available for students who like the physical training and teamwork necessary for competitive and safe competition with other schools.

Parent volunteers also generously offer their time to help build our chapter of the national Girls’ on the Run program. This program uses short lessons and running challenges to encourage third through fifth grade girls to develop self-respect and healthy lifestyles. Their season cumulates with a participation in a 5K run with hundreds of other schools.
