HVCS School Cancellation Procedure
In the event that school is cancelled due to inclement weather,
we will communicate by the following means:
Media
Information will be broadcast on all major Detroit area television and radio outlets. Make sure that you listen for Huron Valley Catholic School in Washtenaw County. There are a couple of schools with Huron Valley in the title, but they are in Wayne and Oakland Counties.
Phone/text
Phone and text messages will be sent through FACTS SIS (Student Information System) to all numbers authorized by you on the Information Release document.
An email will be sent to all parents.
If the Ypsilanti Public Schools or the Ann Arbor Public Schools are closed, (due to inclement weather) we will also be closed.
We will do our best to make a call no later than 6:00 am the day of any closure.
